Museum of Transport

The museum is located in the space of the first steam engine railway station in Bratislava on 19 century and the adjacent warehouses. Road transport represents a collection of the first vehicles with or without motor bicycles, cars and lorries from the interwar period to vehicles from 60th and 70 of the 20th century. The visitors take up prototypes designed by Slovak car after the Second World War and military vehicles. The trackage selection of steam, diesel and electric locomotives, freight wagons and rolling stock special Slovak railways. One of the halls of the museum is dedicated to the railway signaling, security and reporting techniques, equipment for track maintenance, uniforms and other items from the history of railways in Slovakia.
