Museum of Jewish Culture is part of the Slovak National Museum. Began to be formed on the soil of the Historical Museum SNM as a Department of Jewish Culture in 1991. In 1994 it became an independent specialist unit SNM.
The museum focuses on the development of spiritual and material culture and documenting the Holocaust in Slovakia. Exhibitions of the public closer to everyday objects, documents, artifacts and art. The museum also hosts a four synagogues, in Zilina, Presov, Nitra and Trnava.
