Archaeological Museum focuses on the acquisition, recording, restoration, conservation, presentation and publication of archaeological finds in Slovakia from prehistoric times to the top stredovek.V rich collection of the Archaeological Museum can be found many rare finds from various regions of Slovakia from prehistoric to modern times, which come mainly from their own archaeological research. Archaeological Museum is housed in a Renaissance mansion at Kamper Žižkova ul.12 in Bratislava.
The museum manages the implementation of rescue archaeological excavations caused by construction activity, earthworks and the like.
